As a mixed media artist, a range of mediums are used from pencil and charcoal, to oil, acrylic, ink and watercolour.
The style of work is expressive with an emphasis on dynamic bold and purposeful mark making, interwoven with subtle ethereal tones, to reflect the movement or sometimes stillness of the subject matter.
Inspired by nature and also the character of a face, human or animal, PachArtStudio explores these themes through individual practice and commissioned works.
Understanding form through observation, translated onto paper or canvas to capture an image with life, energy and expression. A moment captured in time.
“I am absolutely thrilled. My Cairn Terrier’s dark features are very difficult to photograph so I was absolutely amazed that not only her face but also her expression was captured in the painting.”
”The detail of my dog in the art piece..produced for me is..gallery worthy. I would recommend..again and again.”
”The picture..exceeded my expectations ~ it is a lovely likeness and was finished in good time.”
